Consultation/Supervision for :

(1) EMDR Certified Therapist

(2) Michigan LMSW

(3) Professional growth

Supervision/consultation may include the following aspects of clinical work:

Explore technical aspects of psychotherapy: conceptualize treatment plans, assess, diagnose, identify person-in-environment factors, review session-to-session treatment and interventions.  EMDR consultation includes conceptualizing cases, providing deeper understanding of all 8 phases of treatment and integrating EMDR into your practice.

  1.   Identify person-of-the-therapist (countertransference)

  2.   issues that may be affecting treatment.

Support and encourage use of video and audiotapes of therapy sessions.  It is my personal experience, as well as that of clinicians I have supervised/consulted with, that more direct views of clinical work result in significant benefits for learning and professional growth.
