Falling Awake:

Mindfulness for Depression and Anxiety


Mindfulness-based practices are proving to be an effective approach for addressing depression and anxiety.  This 8-week class is intended for people who have had one or more episodes of depression or live with anxiety.  You can participate whether or not you are taking medicine or are currently in psychotherapy or have had therapy in the past.


Each week you will learn new skills to help you change your relationship with anxiety and depression so that they interfere less in your life. Discover that you can live more fully and in the present moment.

Deepening Mindfulness Practice

for anyone who has taken an 8-week

mindfulness-based class

(MBSR, MBCT, Falling Awake, M-SMART, MB-EAT, etc.)



This 3-week class and day-long retreat will provide longer periods of mindfulness practice as well as an emphasis on dealing with emotions, forgiveness, loving-kindness, and compassion.  You are welcome to take the class as a way to re-start a lapsed practice or simply to support your regular practice.

Begin the year by learning what it means to be more "present" in your life.  This experiential workshop will offer you an opportunity to learn formal and informal mindfulness practices including cultivating compassion. All proceeds donated to this local non-profit agency. No meditation experience necessary.

Mindfulness and Psychotherapy


This 6-week class is an introduction for mental health professionals who are interested in learning more about mindfulness as a fundamental aspect of the therapeutic process. It will support participants in cultivating a personal mindfulness practice. Class will include learning formal and informal mindfulness practices, readings, discussion, and case consultation from a mindfully-informed perspective. Clinicians of all theoretical orientations welcome. No meditation experience necessary.
